Following advice from our governing bodies and NHS England, universal mask-wearing is now not necessary in Optometry practices for patients and clients. You are welcome to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable, but would ask you to refrain from attending should you have COVID-19
Our clinical staff may wear a mask when in close proximity to you, such as during your eye test. If you would prefer us to wear a mask, please let us know and we will be happy to do so
We still have hand sanitizing stations in practice, and will still continue to regularly sanitize surfaces and frames as we get used to the new norm.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
Amit qualified from City University, London in 2005. Having worked in a variety of settings he has experienced both multiples and independents alike. He previously owned a successful franchise Opticians’ practice in the heart of Windsor. After 11 years, Amit decided that he wanted to branch into the independent sector where he would have the autonomy to offer his patients the latest clinical technology and the most up to date glasses, spectacle lenses and contact lenses. Amit also spent many years as a clinician working at City University, London within their Optometry department. Here, Amit taught and coached undergraduates on the practical elements of contact lens fitting and aftercare. As well as testing sight, Amit has a real interest in the dispensing and selecting of glasses so you will most likely find him helping you out with frame styling.
He has a passion for cooking and travelling abroad which always gives him an excuse to try on the latest trendy sunglasses
Rupa has been qualified for over 14 years and studied in Birmingham’s Aston University. After completing her training year, she has worked in a variety of settings, most recently for an independent optician where her passion for providing exemplary clinical care grew. She has a special interest in laser refractive surgery and spent many of her former years working as a specialist laser Optometrist. She wanted to have the opportunity to lead her own practice so she could have the complete freedom of what she is able to offer.
In her spare time, Rupa loves spending time in the kitchen where you can find her experimenting with different cooking and baking techniques. Rupa also loves to keep fit and is a black belt in karate!
